New details have emerged from the macabre crime that took place in Italy, where a 41-year-old Albanian, Bujar Fandaj, is accused of murdering Vanessa Balla, with whom he had a love relationship a year ago. But when their relationship ended, he never accepted the breakup and began to harass her so much that last October, she reported him for stalking.
Fandaj, 41 years old, Kosovar transporter, resident of Altivole, is still on the run and is actively sought. The suspected killer had been stalking Vanessa for some time. Ever since she left him, in 2022, her life had turned into a nightmare. Fandja allegedly started threatening her, even with death, by showing up at the supermarket where the victim worked as a cashier.
In October, the Kosovar would have told her about his intention to publish some videos on the Internet where the two were in intimate moments. At that moment, Vanessa Ballam decided to file a complaint with the police. And a few days later, the carabinieri conducted a search at the home of the 40-year-old man, who apparently had no criminal record, and seized his computer and mobile phone.
The attack was unexpected and the girl was stabbed in different parts of the body. The attacker then left her at the entrance of the house in a pool of blood and ran away.
The crime took place in via Fornasette, in Spineda, a village of Riese Pio X. The killer apparently left on foot and then in a van. The Carabinieri of Treviso and Castelfranco Veneto set off on his trail.
