A 20-year-old man was accidentally shot dead in Tropoja, while the perpetrator was handcuffed by the police.
At noon today, the services of the Tropoja Police Station have received information that in the village of Kepenek, citizen EH, 20 years old, a resident of Tropoja, died as a result of gunshot wounds.
From the quick investigative actions, it turned out that the citizen GN, during the hunt, allegedly accidentally shot the citizen EH, who lost his life.
During the search in the area, 1 semi-automatic rifle and ammunition were found and seized.
The Police Services accompanied the citizen GN, 38 years old, resident in the village of Viçidol, Tropoja, to the Police Station, for further actions, and at the end of the first actions, he was arrested.
At the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work is continuing to document the circumstances of this event.
