A serious incident was recorded this evening in Vlora where a 31-year-old man was stabbed by yet unidentified people.
It is learned that the 31-year-old was taken to the Vlora Regional Hospital with wounds sustained from a cutting tool. From initial reports, the 31-year-old has been identified as Sodiq Atanda, a Nigerian citizen.
Atanda turns out to be a player for the Flamurtari football team. He plays as a defender for the coastal team and was previously a player for Erzeni. According to initial information, the footballer was attacked on the street in an attempt to rob him.
