The police and the prosecutor's office of Durrës are continuing the investigations regarding the murder of 37-year-old Fatjon Dervishi alias Toni Margen.
The investigation team has seized the security cameras in the area where the crime took place and is checking the footage. The 7 escorted persons have been released again, while the investigative team has opened two lines of investigation: the disruption of drug deals, as the victim was involved in criminal groups operating in cocaine trafficking in the Netherlands, as well as revenge due to the brother of his, who is accused of the disappearance of a person in Spain as well as several other crimes in which he participated.
According to the investigators, we may be dealing with hired killers, who were very accurate, as they only shot the target and the person accompanying him did not receive any injuries.
The Durres Prosecutor's Office will seek the cooperation of the Dutch and Spanish counterparts to shed more light on this assassination attempt where the 37-year-old was killed.
