Other details regarding the police mega-operation, which led to the issuing of 15 arrest warrants for the destruction of Laert Haxhi's group, have been disclosed. The latter is a person arrested for the Lushnja massacre, a sworn enemy of Aldo Bare.
Journalist Klodiana Lala disclosed details of the investigations.
Alban Semaku, also known as Elton Mermali. The latter is known as a member of Aldo Bare's gang, while he was taken hostage in Lushnja and then executed in Peqin. So, from the investigations it has been possible to clarify the murder of Albi Bashali in Elbasan, or the elimination of Fridmand Xhaferraj in Korça. Xhaferraj was found tied up and dumped in a tank in this city.
The murders of Lulzim Qorri and Dikens Halili, events that happened in the Greek state, have also been revealed.
The group in question was hit after the confession of the repentant Artan Tafani, who is behind bars for robbing a currency exchange point in Astir. We remind you that Laert Haxhiu, suspected to be the leader of the group, is in Greece under arrest, while he is facing extradition in court.
Meanwhile, Bledar Berberi, accused of murder, has been arrested. Also behind bars is Mariglen Topuzi, suspected of murder, while Firdeus Berberi, part of the group, is accused of threatening police officers, stealing a vehicle that was later used in a murder. It is also known that two other members of the group were arrested earlier for other crimes and are in prison. On the other hand, Lala reports that the group in question is accused of the murder of Çajup Selim in 2021 in Tepelena.
