
GJKKO has left security measures in force for the 10 arrested as part of the criminal group of the international trafficking of cocaine from Latin America, which after being processed in Albania in a sophisticated laboratory in the village of Qereke in Fushë-Kruja, was taken to the countries of the Union European .
The judge of the proceedings is Irena Gjoka, while the prosecutor is Adnand Xholi. The three foreign nationals have denied having anything to do with cocaine trafficking. They said they were in Albania for tourism and hair transplant.
A drug laboratory was discovered by SPAK two days ago after controls in several areas of the country, where cocaine traffickers and processors were arrested, among them three Latinos.
One of the arrested, 25-year-old Andi Sejdini, was the owner of the apartment where the drug laboratory was set up, on one of the floors of the building.
The young man had a private furniture business in the area and that he does not appear to be a person with criminal records or criminal records. Another new detail is that it is suspected that the leaders of this group of traffickers are Aldi Zonja, Artion Çaushllari, Geis Fejsullai and Kladi Birçe, all four arrested.
In total, SPAK declares that it seized 850 salted animal skins that were imported into Albania. To extract the narcotic content from the skin of the leaves, 3 foreign citizens traveled to the Albanian capital, specifically the Colombian Hiulen Narvarez, Joze Vasquez and Samuel Serrano from Venezuela.
The amount of the cocaine load is expected to be calculated by the experts of the investigation, while in the criminal investigation together with SPAK, foreign agencies were also involved, including the DEA.
The narco-trafficking investigation was headed by prosecutor Adnan Xholi, while it is officially said that nearly 6 kilograms of cocaine and stimulants that would serve for the process were also blocked. The group identified as financiers and with clear roles in the traffic consists of Geis Fejsullai, Klajd Birce, Albi Zonja, Artion Caushllari, Endi Sejdini, Ismail Abdurramani and Baki Huqi.
They opened a company for the introduction of leaf skins, registering it in the name of a citizen who turns out not to be involved in the traffic, and through it they introduced the loads, which were distributed to two points, one a few kilometers from Tirana.
SPAK considers the level of cooperation with foreign traffickers who would carry out the extraction of cocaine to be of a high level of organization that would be realized with an advanced technology. Meanwhile, the placement of laboratories near the airport and the port of Durrës was carried out for the purpose of fast transportation of cocaine.
Among the seized evidence are 57 million Colombian pesos and 36 thousand euros.
While SPAK is clear that the roles of the suspects were separate, including financing, transportation from Latin American countries, processing and introduction to European markets.
