The city of Vlora was surrounded by numerous police forces this evening, who carried out "Blic" checks.
The Special Rapid Intervention Forces from Tirana, together with the FNSH unit from Fier and officers from the Vlora Local Police Directorate, have undertaken checks at several points in the city of Vlora, in Selenica and Orikum.
The operation was conducted within the framework of measures to prevent criminal events and increase public safety parameters, focusing on persons with criminal records and high social risk, as well as individuals who circulate with weapons without a permit.
The police announced that such operations will continue in the coming days, throughout the territory of the district, with the aim of cracking down on criminal groups and strengthening public order and peace.
