A van, inside which an arsenal of weapons was found, was seized yesterday by police in the Myslym Shyri area of Tirana.
Citizen Eugen Sino has been arrested, while 2 other people have been declared wanted.
Top Channel journalist Dorjana Bezat reports that about 20 people have been arrested in connection with the incident, suspected of having knowledge of the incident, who turn out to be friends of Sino or residents of the building.
It is learned that most of the weapons are unused. Sources say that the weapons may have been taken from Montenegro and Serbia, transited to Kosovo and then to Albania.
The van in which the weapons were seized had a yellow banner and the inscription "Road Maintenance", an imitation that seems to have helped the group to circulate freely. The escorted persons have been questioned, while the investigations continue. It is not known whether the weapons that were seized were destined for the 'market' in Tirana, or were to be sent to another area.
