He supplied cocaine to customers at his bar, the Albanian is sentenced to prison

The former owner of a bar in Nuneaton in England, was sentenced to 15 months in prison, after he was arrested a year ago during a conflict in his bar, where, among other things, he sold narcotics to customers.

The 45-year-old from Albania, Edmond Borici, must also pay a fine, set by British justice.

On August 9, 2023, shortly after midnight, Boriçi had a conflict with another citizen in the premises of his bar, whom he threatened with a knife, while the latter used a beer barrel to defend himself.

After the police arrived, they handcuffed the 45-year-old man and after the search, found a bag with several bags containing a total of 509 grams of cocaine, with a value of almost 50 thousand pounds.

A second bag containing 17 grams of cocaine was found in a rental BMW parked outside the bar. From the footage of the security cameras, the moment when Boriçi got out of that car was seen. The security cameras also captured the moment of the conflict, where the other citizen is seen trying to close the door in an attempt to escape Boric.

Boric was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on 24 June 2024. "Boric appeared to think he could play the part of a 1950s mobster, hiding his criminal activities behind bars and threatening people he believed to be they had not respected it," said officer DC Williams in court.
