The State Police has taken stock of the past week. 11 drivers were arrested for violating traffic rules.
Three of them were stopped after they were caught driving the vehicle in a drunken state, 2 drivers did not have a driving license, while 5 others did not respect road signs. While another driver was handcuffed after trying to bribe the police.
Meanwhile, a total of 11,039 administrative measures have been imposed. 99 of them were for black windows, 566 measures for speeding over the permitted rates.
While some luxury vehicles were stopped while doing speed races on the road.
The well-known rapper originally from Kosovo, Don Xhoni, was caught doing speed races in Tirana.
Don John was fined 40,000 new lek, while he was doing speed races with a luxury vehicle, an orange lamborghini. He is in Tirana, while he himself posted a video on Instagram with the orange Lamborghini.
While 205 measures were imposed for using a mobile phone while driving, 482 measures for not wearing a seat belt, 29 measures for not respecting the "Stop" signal, 753 measures for not giving priority to citizens and 8042 measures for wrong posture.
There were also license suspensions, in 9 cases for driving under the influence of alcohol, in 54 cases for speeding, while 9 vehicles were blocked, three of which had foreign license plates.
