A jeweler was robbed this afternoon in the city of Kamza, by three unidentified persons. The circumstances of the incident are still unknown, but it is known that the robbers entered the store and took some jewelry and then quickly left in a BMW type vehicle.
The employees of the jewelry store have stated that it was not possible for the robbers to take money from the cash register.
Meanwhile, the investigative group seized the security cameras to find out details about the identity of the robbers. One of the perpetrators is suspected of having a firearm with him.
" Kamez/ Preliminary information. On 28.11.2023, around 5:15 p.m., on "Mother Teresa" street, three masked persons, under the threat of an item suspected to be an automatic firearm, took some jewelry from the jewelry store of ES citizen, and then left in a "BMW" type vehicle.
Police services immediately went to the scene. Temporary checkpoints have been set up in the districts of Tirana, Durrës, Lezhë, Kukës and Shkodër.
For this case, a special investigation group was created with specialists from special structures for the fight against serious crimes. The investigative group on the basis of the administered data is working to clarify and document the authorship of this event" , the police announced.
