The Police Supervision Agency arrested a police officer yesterday evening on "Rinia" Street, Pogradec for 'Irregular Driving'.
According to the AMP announcement, the officer tested positive for alcohol.
While on the move, the police officer also crashed into 5 parked vehicles, causing material damage.
"The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan - Korçë Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer Inspector DO, on duty as a Service Trooper at the Pogradec Border Police Station, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Irregular Driving".
His arrest was carried out after yesterday evening at around 10:31 PM, while driving his vehicle on "Rinia" street in Pogradec, he was involved in an accident, causing material damage to five parked vehicles.
After verification with the alcohol test, it resulted positive at 1.36 mg/l and 1.33 mg/l.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korça," AMP announced.
