Flodian Plaku, suspected of the murder of Gentian Bejtja, has reportedly been arrested by the Police during an operation.
According to reports from News24, Plaku, who was also known by two other surnames (Memo and Serjani), is one of the suspects in the assassination attempt on Gentian Bejtja, a well-known figure who was executed in March 2024, inside the perimeter of his apartment. The Plaku, also known by the nickname 'Pole Qorri', was captured in an operation by the Vlora Police, in cooperation with the Serious Crimes and Operational Unit.
It was said that Plaku was sheltering in Dubai, while it is unknown when he may have entered Albania.
The old man was declared wanted for the murder of Bejtja about 6 months after the crime (updating)
