The Carabinieri of Frosinone in Italy announced that they have struck a case of the sale of narcotics, detaining two Albanian suspects and seizing weapons and a quantity of cocaine and hashish divided into doses.
In fact, it is reported that it was a wave of checks in apartments suspected of illegal activities that led to the base of the detainees. The media published that the action led by Lieutenant Massimo Petrosino, was finalized in the Ater area, where many foreigners are also residents, following the operation started in November.
On Thursday afternoon (August 15), the carabinieri also carried out routine checks in Casermone, where they spotted 2 people watching from the balcony of an apartment that was supposed to be empty and dictated what was happening. However, before reaching the apartment, the two fled, aided by strategically placed cameras that allowed them to watch and anticipate the movements of the police.
The forces were divided into two fronts, one controlling the apartment and the other chasing the two fleeing suspects. The pursuit did not last long and the suspects were handcuffed, while a passport was also found in the apartment.
Inside were found two switch knives and a semi-automatic handgun, serial number eroded, with 7 rounds in it, 10 cartridges of various calibers inside a case, of another gun, but which was not found there.
The apartment served as a real base for drug trafficking, since 3 doses of cocaine, about 10 grams of hash divided into 3 portions and different materials for packaging individual doses were found there. The control also extended to another apartment that the Albanians were using for the preparation of narcotics.
The detainees, whose names were not published, were isolated in the Frosinone detention center and made available to the court.
