New details emerge regarding the investigations into the assassination attempt on the evening of April 17 in Lundë, where the minor sons of Vesel Demiraj, the owner of "Pelikani Security", their friend and the Demiraj family's driver, who were traveling in a G-Class, were injured.
According to journalist Igli Çelmeta, it has been reported that the target of the mafia assassination attempt was the wife of Sidorel Prendi alias Roan Brahimi, a citizen with the initials AB, who lives in Lundë, a complex where the injured young men also live.
The investigative group to solve this incident has focused on examining security cameras from the place where the assassination took place to Lundë, where the G Class carrying 11-year-old Dior Demiraj, his 17-year-old brother Marko Bardhi Demiraj, their friend Kian Mullaj, 19, and the driver of "Pelikani Security", Arens Stafa, 34, managed to reach.
According to the investigations so far, the assassination is suspected to have occurred around 9:30 PM on the evening of April 17th, and within a few minutes, the G Class vehicle in which the 4 injured young men were traveling arrived in Lundë riddled with bullets.
Meanwhile, after about 4-5 minutes, another G Class vehicle passed by in Lundë, which has not yet been identified by investigators as there is no clear view to reveal the license plate.
Meanwhile, at that time, the citizen with the initials AB, the wife of Sidorel Prendi alias Roan Brahimi, turns out to have been in the Lezha hospital, after about 1 hour and 30 minutes earlier, her father-in-law, Gjovalin Prendi, had been executed in the assassination attempt in the village of Pllajë.
She left Tirana for Lezha at 20:15 and was at the Lezha hospital at 21:15. She then returned to her apartment in Lundë where she arrived at 23:30.
Even in her testimony before investigators, she stated that she had no connection to the assassination attempt in Tirana and that she was in Lezha after being notified that her father-in-law had been shot and was in the Lezha hospital.
Investigators are now focusing on the other G Class vehicle that passed through Lundë a few minutes after the barrage of bullets in which Vesel Demiraj's sons were traveling, to discover if this car was the target and not the vehicle in which the four young men were traveling.
