New details have come to light from the previous day's shooting attack on businessman Ardjan Gjeloshi, where the latter was injured and 70-year-old Selman Mihana, an economist at the inerts company in Gurëz i Kurbin, was killed.
From the investigative actions carried out and the collection of evidence at the scene, it turns out that the perpetrators were 4 people. As soon as their target entered the business owned by him, the assassins arrived in a black Range Rover vehicle, which they stopped at the entrance gate of the inert company and three of them got out of the car and disguised themselves. approached on foot towards the administration building where the owner Ardian Gjeloshi was.
As soon as they approached, one of them fired a volley of bullets at the 51-year-old Gjeloshi, but only two of them hit him in the body after he managed to leave and enter the office. Under the company of the target was the company's economist Selman Mihana, who in an attempt to protect the owner received several bullets in different parts of the body, which caused his immediate death.
At the time of the event, there were other employees within the inert company who were dispersing to start work and miraculously escaped.
After the incident, the three masked people left and got back into the Range Rover vehicle, where the fourth person, who was the driver, was waiting for them. According to the testimonies of the employees who were present at the time of the event, one of the authors spoke in a foreign language, but they did not manage to understand what she said.
Meanwhile, throughout the 24 hours, the police accompanied and interrogated more than 10 people, but their testimony did not help the investigative group in identifying the perpetrators and clarifying the incident.
The tracks where the police are investigating
The main track of the investigations is that of revenge, since in 2002, 51-year-old Ardjann Gjeloshi, together with his brother, were involved in an incident, where a woman was killed and a police officer was injured.
In 2002, Ardian Gjeloshi and his brother, Dritan Gjeloshi, shot at a pick-up truck and killed Marie Prenga, nurse, mother of 4 children, while FNSH officer Kastriot Prenga and Gjergj and Vitore Prenga were wounded.
While another issue where investigations are being channeled is the wounding of Ardian Gjeloshaj's son. The police seized the security cameras of the business and interrogated the employees who were in the facility at the time of the incident. However, investigations continue, while the perpetrators are still being sought.
