This is the 53-year-old Albanian man who yesterday stabbed his 44-year-old wife to death in their apartment in Sindos, Thessaloniki, and then ended his life by jumping from the second-floor balcony.
According to Greek media, the woman's funeral will take place tomorrow (March 14) in Albania. The 53-year-old man's funeral will also take place in his homeland in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the two daughters of the Albanian couple, 16 and 21 years old, who lost their parents, are in a state of shock and are reportedly unable to testify to the police.
On Wednesday afternoon, shortly before 1:00 PM when the murder occurred, neighbors did not hear any sounds from the second-floor apartment where the couple lived with their two children.
"We are in the apartment next door and we didn't hear any noise, nothing. They were going to work, they were a family and had children," said a neighbor, according to protothema.gr.
Meanwhile, the photos published by the author on social networks show family moments, from trips with his wife and daughters, moments from vacations and with their friends.
According to the 44-year-old's brother, who went to the apartment where the murder occurred as soon as he was informed, the couple was not arguing, saying: "They were calm people."
Speaking to Greek media, a close friend and colleague of the 44-year-old said she could not believe what happened, as she went to work every morning with the victim.
"She told me she had problems with her husband, but she didn't give me any details. She was always smiling and faced everything without complaining, despite the difficulties she was going through," said the victim's friend.
Mikesha also emphasized that even the few times she had seen the 53-year-old, even before he committed the murder, he had behaved very well with his wife.
