The police of Saranda have arrested two people after accusations of illegal possession of weapons and distribution of narcotics.
The operations were carried out in accordance with the measures defined in the national operational plans "Rule of Law" and "Temple 2".
A 35-year-old resident of Saranda, with a criminal record in the field of narcotics, was arrested in the act after being caught with cannabis.
The police found and confiscated in the 35-year-old's apartment a firearm, 1 tritol mold, dozens of doses of the narcotic drug cannabis, cannabis seeds, 1 cutting tool (knife), 1 pair of handcuffs, ammunition, a sum of money, a suspected counterfeit part , as well as 8 cell phones.
While a 46-year-old man was arrested after being caught red-handed with a weapon, a person with a criminal record in the field of theft.
The police found and seized in his apartment 1 pistol firearm, 1 cutting tool (knife), 1 pair of handcuffs, some shotgun cartridges, an amount of money in euros and 8 mobile phones.

Within the coded operations "Strike 11" and "Strike 12", 2 citizens were arrested.

During the operation, the Police services, based on police intelligence, exercised physical control over the 35-year-old, who found dozens of doses of the narcotic substance cannabis, which this citizen was selling in different areas of Saranda.
During the search in his apartment, in Saranda, the Police found and seized 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 Tritoli cartridge, 1 comb with combat ammunition, a quantity of cannabis narcotic substance, a quantity of cannabis seeds and a sum of suspected counterfeit money.
As part of the "Strike 12" operation, in Ksamil, citizen SM, 46 years old, resident of Ksamil, with a criminal record in the field of theft, was arrested in the act.
During the operation, the Police services searched the 46-year-old's apartment in Ksamil, where they found and seized 1 firearm, a pistol, 1 cutting tool (knife), 1 pair of handcuffs, some shotgun cartridges, a sum of money in euros and 8 cell phones.
The procedural materials for both cases were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Saranda General Jurisdiction", the police announced.
