The rape of the 18-year-old Albanian woman by the brother of her 33-year-old stepmother continues to be in the attention of the Greek media.
The sexual abuse of the 18-year-old caused her father Fatmir Terollari, 50, to kill his brother-in-law a week ago. Today Terolli was released from prison to be placed under house arrest.
Meanwhile, after the decision on the release of the 50-year-old, the Greek media disclosed the testimony given by the 18-year-old to the police.
She confessed that the first time she told her father about the rape, the latter hugged her and told her to report what happened to a lawyer.
"I started telling my father that someone molested me since I was 9 years old and that the rape started at the age of 12. I burst into tears. Dad hugged me. He reacted very coolly and told me that he will be by my side. He told me to find the courage to go to a lawyer to report him ", the girl testified.
As for the constant blackmail of the rapist, the girl said that the 33-year-old asked her for money, stressing that she needed it.
She said that the 33-year-old man took 1,000 euros from her purse, and that she was constantly afraid that he would harm her father and sisters.
" He told me he needed them before he needed them. I had 1,000 euros in my bag that my father had given me in the morning for the rent. Returning to the car, he told me that he had taken them from my bag and would not bother me again. I begged him not to do anything with the video. The next day I realized that he had left about 150 euros of the money I had in my bag. I was afraid of him. I was afraid that he would harm me, my sisters, my father ", continues the 18-year-old in her testimony.
The girl is currently a student in a city in Greece. Her father gave the girl the money to pay the rent of the apartment. Last Sunday, her landlady told her the rent was overdue, and that's when the tangle of horrors began to unfold.
" My father was informed by the owner that I owed him 4 rents in the amount of 1040 euros. My father had given me this money, but I had not paid it. The next morning my father came to see me. At first I didn't want to tell him. But later, I explained the whole story to him from the beginning. I asked him to stay calm and decided to reveal to him what had happened to me many years ago," she said.
At first she did not mention her stepbrother's name
" He asked me who he was, but I didn't have the courage to tell him. The lawyer told me to start writing what had happened to me. I visited a specialist. Dad was always by my side, crying, feeling sorry for what happened to me. He wanted to protect me, he hugged me, kissed me. He insisted that I tell him who he is ," the girl confessed.
The 18-year-old wrote in a notebook everything that happened since her first sexual harassment. On Tuesday morning she told her father the name of the abuser.
"My father was constantly crying and blaming himself for what happened to me. I felt sorry for him and told him that he is the brother of my stepmother, his second wife. Hearing this, he was shocked. Then he insisted even more that I continue with the confession. I asked him for time to talk to the psychiatrist and he seemed to agree. My teacher came home and I had previously told her what was going on, but not in detail until about a year ago when I had also told my sister. In the lawyer's office, the father looked worried, worried, upset. I had never seen it like this before ", said the girl.
Then he tells me "I hit him, I don't know if he is dead" . He didn't tell me who, but I understood who he meant. I had a panic attack. I don't remember much. I remember that my father called the police and said "I hit someone, it's a silver car, I don't know if he's dead or alive". In 10 minutes I will come to surrender".
The girl said that the last rape happened two months ago in a house in Volos.
" I had to meet him because he told me that if I didn't meet him, he would send a video he had on his cell phone of me and him. I entered his car and at one point got out of it because I felt that I did not want to have close contact with him. I asked him not to bother me anymore and he said "ok, this will be the last time ", said the 18-year-old.
