A tragic accident occurred during the last night hours in Venice, Italy. Three young people tragically lost their lives, among them 2 Albanians. The victims are Egli Gjeci, 26, Altin Hoti, 22, and the Italian Giulia Di Tillio, in her 20s. They were all residents of Portogruaro.
The young people were traveling by car when, in circumstances that are being investigated by the Italian authorities, they collided with the protective barriers and then ended up in the river. A tragedy for the three families of the victims, who perished in the prime of youth. But this event is even more serious for the Hoti family, originally from Kosovo, which lost two sons within the year.

In Portogruaro, in May of this year, the younger brother of Altin Hoti, Admiri, only 19 years old, was the victim of a car accident (Read more). He was driving when he lost control and collided with another vehicle. The car split in two and the 19-year-old died. His father was also in the vehicle with him, who was injured.

What makes this event even more terrifying is a post that the victim of this Friday's accident, 22-year-old Altin Hoti, made about his brother on September 27.
"I miss my champion a lot. This life without you is really hard. We miss him a lot. I promise that I will do everything to have the right justice. I can't wait to meet you again my brother", he wrote.
