Police have arrested 44-year-old Simon Jesku, who is suspected of helping the perpetrator of the stabbing in Pogradec leave the scene. He is charged with the crime of "Leaving a prisoner from his place of residence."
It is learned that the 44-year-old was in the vehicle in which the 54-year-old left the scene, where a person was injured with a cutting tool. The incident occurred on March 29 at the entrance to the city of Pogradec.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator of the injury has been arrested by the police and is charged with the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Unlicensed production and possession of cold weapons."

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Pogradec Police Commissariat have continued investigative actions regarding the incident that occurred on 29.03.2025, in neighborhood no. 3, Pogradec, where citizen MT, 36 years old, was injured and subsequently the arrest of citizen LO was made, for the criminal offenses "Intentional serious injury", and "Unauthorized production and possession of cold weapons", and the criminal prosecution of citizen AB, alias AO, for the criminal offense "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime".
Following the investigative actions, it emerged that at the moment the incident occurred, citizen S. J. was also present, who left in the vehicle in which the perpetrator also left the scene.
The investigations also revealed that citizen SJ had violated the security measure "House arrest", issued by the Korça Court, for the criminal offense of "Irregular driving".
Following this, the arrest and escort to the Pogradec Police Station of citizen SJ, 44 years old, resident of Blace, Pogradec, who was arrested for the criminal offense of "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence".
The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça for the criminal offense of "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence" , the police announced.
