A 39-year-old man, convicted by the Criminal Court of Kosovo for criminal activity in the field of terrorism, has been deported from Spain.
Kreshnik Haxhiaj was arrested in Spain and was internationally wanted, because in 2024, the Criminal Court sentenced him to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Incitement, public call and propaganda for the commission of acts with terrorist intent."
"The police operation codenamed "Deportation" is finalized. The operation by the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, in close cooperation with the Department of International Relations and the Spanish Police. A citizen sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison for criminal activity in the field of terrorism is deported from Spain.
As a result of the coordination of operational actions with the Department of International Relations of the Albanian Foreign Ministry and the Spanish Police, the Anti-Terrorism Directorate finalized the "Deportation" operation, during which citizen Kreshnik Haxhiaj, 39 years old, was deported from Spain.
The 39-year-old arrested in Spain was internationally wanted because in 2024, the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime sentenced him to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Incitement, public call and propaganda for the commission of acts with terrorist purposes". The procedural materials were referred to SPAK for further action, the police announced.
