In addition to experience, the sniper also requires good training skills, where the person who uses it must dominate the weapon, but also study the position from which he will shoot the target.
The sniper was also used in other cases for sensational murders, which are still without a perpetrator. On January 7, 2020, he was executed with a firearm in the center of Rrëshen Kastriot Reçi. The fatal bullet that hit him in the heart was fired by a sniper stationed on top of a building. The investigative team had doubts that the killer was paid and trained with weapons, based on the precision and disguise he used.
Ardjan Çapjas was also assassinated by a sniper in 2020, in Elbasan. Where the unidentified perpetrator shot with a sniper from the hillside, in the direction of Çapje's apartment, injuring him in the shoulder. The weapon was found inside the "Volkswagen" car, which was burned a few kilometers away from the assassination site.
Another execution by sniper is that of Xhabir Shega, in 2015, after he had served 12 years in prison for the murder of Indri Bajri in 2001. From the Shkodra Castle, he was shot by a sniper with two bullets, which took his life while it was located in the yard of the apartment. The authorities failed to identify the executioners.
The first cases of execution by sniper in Albania are the killing of Ilir Bardhi, inside prison 313 and the execution of Ylli Haklaj in Tropoja, in 2000.
The sniper is a professional weapon but not 100% safe if used by amateurs. Such was the case of 2016 on Kavaja Street in Tirana, where the target was wounded in the ear, or the case of September 2022, when Akil Nerjaku attempted an assassination, miraculously escaping a well-thought-out assassination.
