Today, the funeral of Erion Pelivani, who was killed with a shotgun by his 50-year-old brother-in-law, took place in Poliçan of Berat.
Pelivani allegedly sexually abused the author's daughter from the age of 12 to the age of 14.

"No one has the right to kill anyone. I endured all these years, his daughter came home 2 times a week, I don't believe my brother did anything to her. He was not a good man, he got angry easily, I know him well. He went hunting and left his children" - the wife of the murderer is said to have said.
Likewise, none of the friends of 33-year-old Erion Pelivani had been at the funeral, expressing off-camera that they felt ashamed for the shameful actions that their friend did.
