A 36-year-old man was stopped this evening in Këlcyre, after allegedly sexually harassing a 14-year-old student.
According to police sources, the suspected perpetrator, a citizen with the initials NJ, worked as a van driver that transported students. So it is learned that the 36-year-old sexually harassed the minor for about a year.
" Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Këlcyre Police Station, after the report made by a 14-year-old girl that the driver of the van transporting school students had sexually harassed her continuously for around 1 year, immediately organized the work to catch him.
As a result of the work, the NJ citizen, 36 years old, resident of the village of Katundisht, Këlcyre, was arrested and at the end of the first investigative actions, he was arrested for the criminal offense of "Sexual Harassment".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions ", the police announced.
