A 54-year-old man was arrested by the Shkodra Police, who prevented a possible criminal incident. The arrested person is citizen Vedat Hoxha, who, after a fight he had in a bar, returned armed with an automatic weapon, but was caught in time by the police.
"He had a conflict with the owner of the bar and several other citizens, left and returned to the bar with a Kalashnikov firearm, but thanks to the immediate intervention of the Police, it was possible to neutralize and arrest the 54-year-old man.
After receiving notification from the Operations Room about a conflict in the "Manush Alimani" neighborhood, the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat organized the work and immediately intervened in order to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
As part of the police operation codenamed "Reaction", the arrest was made in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition" and "Threats", of citizen VH, 54 years old, resident of Shkodra.
The 54-year-old, after a conflict with the owner of the bar, citizen GH, 36, had left and returned to the bar, where he had a Kalashnikov firearm with him. At the moment he returned to the bar, the Police services arrived and intervened to neutralize the 54-year-old who was holding the firearm in his hand.
The 54-year-old, unable to escape, threw the gun to the ground. Police immediately handcuffed him and seized the gun and ammunition as material evidence.
Following the actions, citizen GH, 36 years old, resident of Shkodra, was prosecuted for the criminal offenses of "Illegal employment" and "Hiding income", the Police announced.
