A 19-year-old Albanian man lost his life the day before in Santorini, while working in the construction sector. The young Albanian was trapped under the rubble when the ceiling of a building collapsed, causing his death.
So who was the 19-year-old Albanian?
The young man has been identified as Aurel Elezi. He tragically lost his life yesterday on the island of Santorini in Greece.
Aureli was the only son of the Elezi family, who had gone to Greece to work, and yesterday he was carrying out work on a property in Imerovigli, while the construction had the structure of a cave.
The 19-year-old was repairing the roof of this building when he was suddenly crushed by the damaged structure. In connection with this serious incident, Greek authorities have arrested the owner of the building as well as the person responsible for the previous construction.
Greek media reported that this case was not related to the recent developments in seismic activity occurring in the area, while the causes of this fatal event have not yet been fully elucidated.
