A 37-year-old man was arrested by the Saranda police as a suspect in an injury that occurred on Friday afternoon in this city. The arrested man is Diomet Musai, 37, while his nephew, Markeljan Musai, 29, is wanted.
"Thanks to the quick actions of the Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station, citizen DM, 37 years old, with a criminal record for crimes against the person, was located in an apartment in the village of Lukovë, where he was hiding, and was arrested. Meanwhile, the search for citizen MM, 29 years old, continues."
The two perpetrators, an uncle and a nephew, are suspected of having punched, kicked and hit citizen S. Ç., 52 years old, with hard objects on 21.02.2025, at around 16:10, in the place called "Rruga për në Heremec", in neighborhood no. 3, Saranda, for weak motives, causing serious injuries.
Police services are continuing their work to capture the 29-year-old man wanted as a co-author.
The materials were referred to the Prosecution for the criminal offense of "Intentional Serious Injury" committed in collaboration," the Police announced.
