The police of Fier have arrested the 47-year-old man who hit the pedestrian with a vehicle, who died as a result.
It is noted that the identity of the victim was not reported correctly. The victim is not 81-year-old L.Ç, but 75-year-old IB.
"Road Traffic Specialists arrested citizen MJ, 47 years old, resident of Fier, in the act, after driving the vehicle he hit the pedestrian, citizen IB, 75 years old, who died as a result of the collision and the injuries he received.
We clarify that in the preliminary notice given earlier, the details and age of the citizen who lost his life were not correct.
After the verifications carried out in the Fier Hospital morgue with the help of family members, it turned out that the generals are IB, 75 years old and not L.Ç., 81 years old.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions", the police informs.
