A 46-year-old man was arrested by the police of Shkodra as part of the coded police operation "Clean Territory", against the cultivation of narcotic plants.
In the village of Xhan, in the administrative unit of Pult, police forces found 54 cannabis plants planted on the ground. Also, during the inspection in two abandoned apartments, around 336 suspected narcotic cannabis plants were found in the process of drying, which were destroyed by burning.
The 46-year-old was found with an unlicensed Kalashnikov firearm and ammunition, which were seized as material evidence.
"The operation by the Shkodër Police Commissariat, developed in the territory of the village of Xhan, of the administrative unit of Pult, during which another case of cultivation and production of cannabis and illegal possession of weapons was struck.
During the operation, the Police caught red-handed and handcuffed a 46-year-old man, who is suspected of cultivating narcotic plants and carrying firearms and military ammunition without a permit.
About 390 cannabis plants are destroyed, most of them in the process of drying.
A Kalashnikov firearm and ammunition were seized.
