The Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes in Tirana has sentenced him to 30 years in prison for the criminal offenses "Theft with a weapon committed in cooperation", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and "Structured group criminal".

Who is Fatjon Pjetri?
The 33-year-old is from Puka and was previously convicted in Greece for theft with violence and weapons. After coming to Albania in 2013, he became part of the "Santa's Gang". He participated in all the robberies committed by the "Babagyshë" gang, which spread throughout the country, in Tirana, Kuçovo, Durrës, Berat, Lezhë, Fushë-Krujë, Laç, Shkodër.
The robbery that made the most noise was the one in a shopping center in Tirana, where a jeweler was robbed. After this event he was arrested on November 24, 2017. Pjetri carried out each robbery without leaving a trace, without causing casualties and in a time of 3 minutes.
After he was announced as an international wanted man, he declared: "I don't know who invented my name, I am innocent." The police should accuse me with real facts, not with fabrications".
Thefts committed by the gang:
1. On dt. 11.01.2013, around 6 o'clock in the afternoon, an attempted armed robbery was committed, in cooperation, of a jewelry store near the train station, Durrës, property of citizen AF. Citizens Fatmir Pjetri participated in this attempted theft. Agustin Sula and Saimir Kala.
2. On 28.09.2013, around 7.10 p.m., the jeweler's shop, owned by citizen AB, located in the "Llukan Prifti" neighborhood, Kuçovo, was stolen with a gun. Citizens Ilir Kupa, Agustin Sula, Fatmir Pjetrin and Hajdar Sefa took part in this theft, where they took a significant amount of gold.
3. On 25.10.2013 at around 1:20 p.m., two masked and armed persons committed armed robbery of the agri-food company "A..T..A.," in Vorë, where they took the amount of 1000 dollars to the cashier of this firm. Citizens Ilir Kupa, Agustin Sula and Julian Qerushi participated in this theft.
4. On 05.11.2013, around 2:30 p.m., the jewelry shop owned by SR citizen was robbed at gunpoint, in cooperation, and its owner was injured during the theft, which happened in the center of the city of Laç. Citizens Ilir Kupa, Hajdar Sefa, Agustin Sula and Fatmir Pjetri participated in this theft, where they took a significant amount of gold.
5. On 25.11.2013, around 1:45 p.m., it was stolen by three armed persons "Arjendari Gj...", in the place called the market of the city of Fushë-Kruje, owned by the citizen PB, where a quantity of jewelry was stolen , as well as an amount of about 500,000 (five hundred thousand) ALL. Citizens Ilir Kupa, Fatmir Pjetri and Agustin Sula participated in this theft.
6. On 24.12.2013, around 5.30 p.m., an armed robbery was carried out in collaboration with Argendaria "G....", in the shopping center, in the village of Lundër, Tirana. Citizens Ilir Kupa, Agustin Sula, Fatmir Pjetri and Julian Qerushi took part in this theft, where they took a significant amount of gold. The perpetrators have carried out this theft, dressed as Santa Claus for the New Year's party.
7. On February 28, 2014, at lunchtime, the armed robbery was carried out in collaboration by two persons masked in police uniforms and armed, of the Mercedes Benz car sales point, located on the Tirana Durrës highway, near the Kashari overpass , where they received the amount of 100,000 ALL. Citizens Agustin Sula and Edmond Selala participated in this theft.
8. On 14.04.2014, at around 10:36 a.m., the armed robbery was carried out in cooperation by four persons masked in police uniforms and armed, of the AML services complex, located on "Konferenza e Peza" Street, Tirana where received the amount of 1,000,000 ALL. Citizens Fatmir Pjetri, Dritan Kola, Agustin Sula and Mark Shpendi participated in this theft.
9. On dt. On 22.04.2014, around 09:30, the armed robbery was carried out in collaboration with two masked and armed persons who moved on a motorcycle, of the jeweler "AÇ", which happened on "Bajram Curri" boulevard, in front of the Judicial District Court Tirana, owned by the citizen A. Ç., where they received the amount of about 600,000 ALL. Citizens Fatmir Pjetri and Agustin Sula participated in this theft.
10. On dt. 03.06.2014, at lunchtime, two masked and armed persons committed armed robbery of the scrap yard on the Vorë-Marikaj secondary road, owned by citizen RZ, where they took the sum of 150,000 ALL. . Citizens Fatmir Pjetri and Agustin Sula participated in this theft.
11. On 26.11.2014, around 5:30 p.m., the theft of the apartment of citizen KG took place in the village of Kallmet, Lezhë, where they took the sums of 1,000,000 ALL and 5,000 USD. The citizens under investigation Agustin Sula, Angjelin Ndreka and Lin Kala participated in this theft. During the theft, the victim was in his apartment together with his mother and wife.
In addition to the above thefts, committed in Albania, the group also carried out two thefts in Macedonia:
12. On 30.04.2014, the jewelry store owned by citizen RH, located in Struga, was stolen, where an amount of 5.5 kg of gold was taken. Citizens Agustin Sula, Fatmir Pjetri, Miljan Elezi or Artur Tafani, Mark Shpendi and Dritan Kola participated in this theft. The perpetrators carried out this theft dressed as women. During the theft, there was a gunfight with the jewelers and the Macedonian police.
13. On 29.07.2014, a jeweler was stolen, located in Dibër i Madhe, where during the theft, the perpetrators exchanged fire and one of the accomplices in the commission of this theft, citizen Miljan Elezi (alias Artur Tafani), was killed. An amount of 12 kg of gold was taken in this theft. Citizens Agustin Sula, Fatmir Pjetri, Miljan Elezi (alias Artur Tafani), Saimir Kala and Dritan Kola participated in this theft.
