A 42-year-old man shot with a Kalashnikov the other day in Karaburun, Vlora, endangering and terrorizing the residents of the area.
Official police sources say that the 42-year-old shot in the air near his home in the place called "Gallolec".
Upon arriving at the scene, the authorities handcuffed the person in question, while also seizing the Kalashnikov, a comb and military ammunition.
"The services of the Orikum Police Station, following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, after receiving information that in Karaburun, in the place called "Gallolec", a citizen had shot a firearm that he was carrying without a permit in his station, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Strike 9", in the framework of which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto: AJ, 42 years old, resident of the village of Dukat. This citizen is suspected of having fired a Kalashnikov firearm yesterday, in Karaburun, near his residence, endangering the residents of the area. Police services during the search in this area found hidden and seized as material evidence a Kalashnikov firearm, a comb and combat ammunition," the police said in a press release.
