Sueld Elezi was extradited from Italy to Albania, after being declared internationally wanted by a decision of the GJKKO, which had assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison".
He is accused of the criminal offenses of "Drug trafficking", committed in the form of cooperation within a structured criminal group, as well as "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group".
According to investigations, Elezi is known as a member of the "Visit i Poja" group and has been declared wanted in the context of the coded file "Ura".
The prosecution accuses him of trafficking 2 kilograms of cocaine to Italy in 2020, in collaboration with two other individuals. While in 2021, it is suspected that, together with other citizens, he trafficked 932 kilograms of cocaine to Italy.
"The citizen Sueld Elezi, declared internationally wanted after the Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 30.04.2025, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Drug trafficking", committed in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group", was extradited from Italy to Albania. This citizen is accused of having trafficked 2 kg of cocaine to Italy in 2020, in collaboration with other citizens, while during 2021, in collaboration with other citizens, he trafficked 932 kg of cocaine to Italy," the police statement said.
