The police have identified and announced that they are looking for the perpetrator of the gunshot wound to the 29-year-old man, an incident that occurred yesterday in Kamëz.
According to the police, 23-year-old Emanuel Buci has been declared wanted, after he is accused of injuring 29-year-old Mikel Xhetani.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon at around 1:55 p.m., and it is suspected that the injury occurred over a parking space.
"Thanks to the rapid professional and investigative actions, the Police identify and declare the suspected perpetrator of the gunshot wound to the 29-year-old, an event that occurred yesterday in Kamëz. Immediately after the notification received at around 13:55, yesterday, in Kamëz, that a citizen had been wounded with a gunshot, the Police services immediately went to the scene.
As a result of well-organized work, carried out by the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector in cooperation with Police Station No. 5, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to identify the suspected perpetrator, citizen EB, 23 years old, who is suspected of having, for weak motives, wounded citizen M. Xh., 29 years old, with a firearm.
"Police services are still continuing checks throughout the area with the aim of locating, capturing and arresting the perpetrator and fully documenting the incident legally. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
