A 38-year-old man was put in handcuffs in Saranda, after injuring a person with a knife, during a momentary conflict.
It is reported that the injured is in the Trauma Hospital out of danger for life.
He wounded a citizen with a knife during a momentary conflict for weak motives, the 38-year-old was caught and put in handcuffs.
"The services of the Sarandë Police Station, in cooperation with the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, immediately after receiving the notification that the DR citizen had wounded the MD citizen with a cutting tool (knife), and left immediately after the incident, organized the arrest of the author exercising continuous controls. As a result of the search, after a few hours, it became possible to locate, catch and arrest the citizen in the act:
DR, 38 years old, resident of Saranda.
This citizen is suspected that on 24.09.2024, around 19:10, in neighborhood no. 1, after a momentary conflict for weak motives, injured with a cutting tool (knife) the citizen MD, 38 years old, resident of Saranda, who is in the Trauma hospital, out of danger for life.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Sarandë, for further actions" , the police informs.
