A momentary conflict between family members ended with the use of firearms in Tirana, where one person was injured.
The police announce that they have arrested citizen MT, 41 years old, and his brother-in-law GM, 54 years old, after an incident that occurred yesterday evening on "Llambi Bonata" street, in the 54-year-old's apartment.
According to preliminary investigations, the conflict began after GM allegedly exercised physical and psychological violence against his wife, who is the sister of the suspected perpetrator. At the height of the argument, 41-year-old MT fired a gun, injuring his brother-in-law.
"Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes arrested citizens MT, 41 years old, and GM, 54 years old, after yesterday, on "Llambi Bonata" street, in the 54-year-old's apartment, citizen MT, after a momentary conflict, wounded with a firearm his brother-in-law, citizen GM, who is suspected of having previously exercised physical and psychological violence against his wife. Work is still ongoing to capture citizen NS (nephew of citizen MT), who was in the apartment at the time of the incident. The firearm was seized as material evidence," the police announced.
