A 42-year-old man was arrested by the Gjirokastra police after he was caught transporting 10 illegal immigrants.

He was stopped at the Tepelenë-Memaliaj national axis, but he did not obey the order of the police officers to stop and continued the movement.

After the chase, police stopped the vehicle near Memaliaj and handcuffed the 42-year-old.

As material evidence, the vehicle and a mobile device were seized.
