The Traffic Police in Tirana have arrested two young men who were driving under the influence of narcotics.
According to official sources, citizens DS, 20 years old, and AS, 19 years old, were detained after they were found to be performing wrong maneuvers.
"The services of the Traffic Police Commissariat in Tirana, following checks to identify and punish vehicle drivers who violate traffic rules and/or drive vehicles in an irregular manner, have stopped for inspection vehicles driven by citizen DS, 20 years old and AS, 19 years old, after being found performing wrong maneuvers.
After testing with the AquilaScan device, it turned out that both of these citizens were driving the vehicle under the influence of narcotics.
Thus, the number of vehicle drivers who have tested positive for the effects of drugs, after testing with the AquilaScan device, this year has reached 32," the police announced.
