Since late Monday evening, dozens of police forces have been in the town of Ksamil. It is a "Top-Secret" operation being carried out by operational forces, those of the FNSH in cooperation with the Saranda police.
It is learned that the police are pursuing several high-risk individuals, who have not yet been located. Two vans with FNSH officers are combing the area from Ksamil to Butrint, while checkpoints have been set up at the entrances and exits of the town. Agents have been checking security cameras in several businesses since this morning to locate the suspects. Confidential sources indicate that there is also a suspicion that there was a clash between the suspected perpetrators and the police, and for this reason the arrival of additional forces was necessary.
Entry and exit are being controlled by members of the "Eagle" forces, while the operation is expected to extend to the Albanian-Greek border in the Konispol Municipality. / BalkanWeb
