
Tirana Police have arrested a 42-year-old man after he endangered the lives of police officers yesterday by crashing three of their cars with the vehicle he was driving.
It all started after an incident reported at the QSUT around 9:00 a.m. While attempting to leave the hospital, the 42-year-old shot a female doctor with a pellet gun.
During the operation to capture him, he crashed into 3 police cars, resulting in 2 traffic officers being slightly injured during the collision.
During a search of his apartment and vehicle, quantities of firearm ammunition were found, as well as shotguns, cold weapons, and weapon components.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that the 42-year-old had been hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital due to mental health problems.
