A 35-year-old man lost his life this morning in the city of Durrës, as he failed to survive the wounds caused by a shotgun.
Initial suspicions are that the victim, under unclear circumstances, shot himself with a shotgun in his apartment, while the police are investigating the incident.
It is reported that the victim lost his life while being transported to the regional hospital in Durrës.
The incident, according to the police, occurred in neighborhood no. 13 of the city of Durrës, where at around 08:45, citizen O. Sh., around 35 years old, is suspected of having shot himself with a shotgun in his apartment.
The investigative group has arrived at the scene, which, under the direction of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, is working to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident.
Authorities are investigating to accurately determine the causes and dynamics of the incident.
