The Dhërmi Border Police Services, in cooperation with the Marine Police Unit, during the patrolling of the coastline, in order to guarantee order and public safety in the tourist areas, as well as to control the use of watercraft, have immediately intervened on the beach of ??? ?Palas, blocking a dinghy that had breached the water safety perimeter for beachgoers, putting their lives at risk.
The Police Services punished the driver of the boat, citizen K. M, with the administrative measure of 100,000 new lek and blocked the boat in Himare Port.
The Border Police, in cooperation with the Maritime Police Unit and land patrols, will continue monitoring and controlling all coastal areas, with the aim of ensuring a calm and safe environment for all vacationers.
The police appeals to all users of watercraft to strictly respect the water safety perimeter for beachgoers, to follow the rules for the use of watercraft and to respect the designated areas for sailing with these tools. Any violation detected will be dealt with according to the law in force, to guarantee safety and order in the coastal areas," the police announced.
