Knife fight in Saranda, two seriously injured; 27-year-old urgently leaves for Tirana

A fight over weak motives has degenerated into the use of a knife, leaving two people injured in Saranda. The incident took place yesterday evening in neighborhood no. 4 of the city.

As a result of a conflict between citizens Enea Qorri and Arnest Gjoncaj, both were injured.

According to preliminary information, 27-year-old Arnest Gjoncaj, a resident of the village of Gjashtë, was stabbed in the back and due to his serious health condition, was urgently taken to Tirana for specialized medical treatment.

Enea Qorri, who according to the police has a criminal record, was also injured in the violent collision.

Saranda Police have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident and are working on its full legal documentation.
