Four people have been arrested by the Tirana police following the coded operation "Tempulli 2", while two others have been criminally prosecuted.
The police say that the people prepared and then sold the narcotic in doses near the schools.
As material evidence, doses of cannabis narcotics, ready for sale, sums of money benefited from this illegal activity, and two shredders for narcotics were seized.
" Services of Police Station No. 1, and the services of the Police Station No. 3, following the intensive operational actions carried out within the framework of the nationwide, anti-drug police mega-operation, coded "Tempulli 2", after having provided information that some citizens were selling cannabis narcotics, in doses , in the vicinity of a school on "Ismail Qemali" street, and in the "Don Bosko" area, have organized the work to catch them and bring them to criminal responsibility , "says the police.
As a result of the checks carried out:
▪️Services of Police Station No. 1, near a school on "Ismail Qemali" street, citizens EK, 21 years old, and S. Sh., 23 years old, were caught and arrested in the act. The citizens HP, 21 years old, and RD, 20 years old, all residents of Tirana, were also criminally prosecuted.
From the verifications carried out, it was found that these citizens procured the narcotic substance in quantity and then divided it into doses, which they sold near a school, on "Ismail Qemali" street.
▪️Services of Police Station No. 3, in "Don Bosko", citizens O. Sh., 30 years old, and MH, 27 years old, both residents of Tirana, were caught and arrested in the act.
From the verifications carried out, it was found that these two citizens provided the narcotic substance in quantity and then divided it into doses, which they sold in the "Don Bosco" area.
As material evidence, doses of cannabis narcotics, ready for sale, sums of money benefited from this illegal activity, and two shredders for narcotics were seized.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
