A TNT explosion shook Lezha overnight.
The target of the explosives attack was the 'Amigo' bar in the Besëlidhja neighborhood, in the residential block near the Drin River.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the explosion, but only material damage was caused.
Media sources indicate that the bar is owned by Ilir Marvukaj, who was arrested in 2017 for drug trafficking. The 47-year-old was arrested in 2017 for organizing the trafficking of 25 kg of cannabis to Kosovo.
Ilir Markvukaj, subject of OFL (Operation Force of Law). For years, Markvukaj has operated several businesses in Lezha, such as a gym, a coffee bar and most recently an animal farm.
The police are carrying out all actions to solve this case and identify the perpetrators of the explosive device.
"At around 03:00 this morning, in the city of Lezha, in front of the door of the closed bar of citizen IM, 47 years old, explosives were thrown and as a result material damage was caused.
"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify and capture the perpetrator(s)," the announcement states.
