Three people have fallen into the handcuffs of the Tirana police, as in cooperation with each other they obtained and brought to Albania foreign citizenship documents, falsified.

The coded police operation "Watermark" is finalized for the attack on criminal activity in the field of forgery of documents.
The operation was carried out by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in DVP Tirana.
3 citizens who, in cooperation with each other, secured and brought forged foreign citizenship documents to Albania were put in handcuffs.
The specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, following the work for the prevention, identification and attack of illegalities in the field of economic and financial crimes, based on the informational intelligence that some citizens were engaged in falsification of documents, have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, which has registered the criminal proceedings.
As a result of the proactive investigations carried out in the function of this criminal proceeding, this criminal activity was documented with legal evidence and the coded police operation "Watermark" was finalized.
As part of this operation, citizens aged 35, 52 and 34, all three residents of Tirana, were arrested.
The Police Services located in Kamze, and during the document check they found a document (Italian patent) suspected to be forged.
From the investigative actions, it was found that citizens Sh. H., and IH, provided forged documents abroad, and then brought them to MH citizens, against payment, and the latter found customers and sold them in Albania.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
