The main suspect in the murder of Vanessa Ballan, Bujar Fandaj, has been publishing threatening messages on his TikTok profile since October.
The young woman, who would have turned 27 on January 4, mother of a 4-year-old child and expecting her second child, had denounced her for stalking since last October 26.
Bujar Fandaj, 41 years old, of Kosovar origin, who in the past allegedly had a brief flirtation with the young woman, posts on TikTok his images accompanied by music and threatening phrases in a delirium.
Bujari in his videos does not speak in his own words, but he plays audio from others, decontextualized monologues that sound like allusions to unspecified personal grudges.
"Don't ever put me in the position of a heartless man, because the day for me to be one for you is over", is the audio that he publishes on November 8, 2023. And on the same day, he adds another content: "Listen, you can do with. me anything as long as I let you, but there's one thing you mustn't do: never underestimate me.”
They are posts addressed to an unidentified person, which in some cases seem to refer specifically to Vanesa. "You talk about respect and then you don't even know who it belongs to. The word respect includes many things: coherence, loyalty, sincerity towards others. And you, where have you hidden all this? ", is the message of November 11.
And again: “I have loved you deeply with a sincerity that I thought was common. I was ready to do anything for you, climb mountains and cross oceans, but you chose to betray this trust."
The delirious monologue is a crescendo. And on November 12, it almost became a threat: "My patience is priceless, but we must not exaggerate. I am very generous, I am very available, you who think you have me in hand, I see you and I know you."
By November 16, he posts a photo of a hand, his own, with a date carved into the fist: November 16, 2021 (perhaps a date related to a relationship?), and a long, very long message recited from a voice in French saying: “It's over, I'll leave it alone. I will no longer bombard you with messages, I will no longer waste time with someone who doesn't want me in their life. If you had really loved me, things would have turned out differently. I will not continue to torture my soul to understand why you behave this way. What have I done to deserve such contempt? What happened to everything you told me? Were they sincere words or empty words to lure me, manipulate me, give me false hope? My heart trusted you, but my reason tells me that you have never been honest with me. Actions never followed words. You played with my feelings and didn't care about me. You are the one who started this story but I am the one who ends it. You could have been someone very important in my life, but you were just an insignificant stop that I will soon forget. I don't wish you the worst or the best, I don't wish you anything.
