A fight between young people in a bar in Vlora has escalated to the use of firearms.
According to the police, several people had a conflict outside the premises of the bar, and one of them had a firearm with him.
During the conflict, the 25-year-old took the firearm from his friend, a 19-year-old citizen, and then fired into the air. The young men were arrested in the "Uji i Ftohtë" neighborhood in Vlora.
"A potential criminal event with life-threatening consequences is prevented, thanks to the immediate response of the Police.
Two citizens are arrested, one of whom fired a gun into the air during a conflict.
The Vlora Police Commissariat, after receiving a report that several people were having a conflict outside a bar and that one of them had a firearm, immediately intervened to prevent the conflict from escalating, arresting the 2 perpetrators, specifically the citizens:
AH, 19 years old, resident of Vlora;
MA, 25 years old, resident of Orikum.
Their arrest took place after, in the "Uji i Ftohtë" neighborhood, Vlora, in the outdoor premises of a bar, during a physical conflict between the 2 above-mentioned citizens and several other people, citizen MA took the pistol firearm from his friend, citizen AH, and fired once into the air.
Thanks to the immediate intervention of the patrol services, it was possible to neutralize and capture two citizens, as well as find and seize the pistol firearm.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for the criminal offenses of "Disturbing public peace" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition," the police announced.
