Two road accidents were recorded within a few hours in Fier and Korça, resulting in two drivers being injured, but their lives are out of danger.
The first incident occurred this evening on the eastern ring road of the city of Fier, where a vehicle, after disobeying a police order to stop, collided with a parked vehicle in an attempt to leave.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the vehicle was injured and was urgently transported to the Fier Regional Hospital, where he is receiving medical assistance. According to sources, his life is out of danger. Police, firefighters and the investigation team immediately intervened at the scene, while the driver of the vehicle is expected to be accompanied to the police station.
Meanwhile, another serious accident was recorded earlier on the Korça-Pogradec road, near the village of Sovjan. According to preliminary data, the driver of a "Benz" vehicle lost control and crashed into the protective barriers near the intersection, ending up on the side of the road.
As a result, the driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Korça regional hospital. Sources from the hospital indicate that his life is out of danger, while the material damage is considerable.
