A serious accident occurred this Wednesday in Ksamil, where a 2-year-old child was hit by a vehicle.
According to the police, the accident occurred on "Hasan Tahsini" street, where a 48-year-old resident of Ksamil was suspected of driving while intoxicated at the time of the collision.
The minor was urgently transported to Saranda Hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.
"Specialists from the Urban and Interurban Traffic Section at the Saranda Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen AK, 48 years old, resident of Ksamil, who, on "Hasan Tahsini" street, while driving while intoxicated, has caused an accident to a 2-year-old child. The minor is in the Saranda Hospital, under the care of doctors," the police announced.
The investigation team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
